ELIGIBILITY 

  • Any person who at the time of the effectiveness of the policy will be eligible: During the previous 24 months, have not been diagnosed with COVID-19; 

  • Has not reached 76 years of age; During the previous 24 months you have not been diagnosed with Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS), AIDS-Related Complex, or had one or more positive HIV test(s); 

  • Is not bedridden, hospitalized, or in a Hospice Home; During the previous 24 months he has not been transplanted, nor is he under dialysis treatment; 

  • During the previous 24 months, you have not been diagnosed with or required treatment for:  

Cancer, Cardiovascular Diseases, Cerebrovascular Diseases, Asthma, Chronic Bronchitis, Pulmonary Emphysema, Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease, do not suffer or have suffered from Morbid Obesity.

Cancer Insurance 

The most complete Cancer insurance in Puerto Rico considering that in most cases having a medical plan is not enough to cover the needs of a cancer diagnosis. Group Cancer and
Specific Diseases

This program offers special protection in the event that the Insured is diagnosed with Cancer or one of the specific diseases. To be eligible, you must be in good health and have never been diagnosed with Cancer or any of the specific covered diseases, and there is no age limit for basic coverage. In addition to the basic cover, seven (7) optional additions are offered

Mortgage Insurance
for Accidental Death
or Disability

In the event that the Insured loses his life in an accident, this program provides protection to pay off the total balance of his mortgage. Now, if the Insured becomes disabled due to illness or accident, we will make the monthly payments on their mortgage.

Life Mortgage Insurance

This program offers the Insured a protection in case of death due to natural or accidental death, where the total balance owed on their mortgage will be paid. You can get it as an owner alone (“Single”) or as an owner and spouse (“Joint”).

Credit Life Insurance

This coverage is designed to protect the creditor and the debtor from the balance owed on personal loans and lines of credit. If the Insured dies, the Company will pay the total balance of the debt on the date of death and up to the maximum established in the policy. In addition, endorsements are provided for disability and unemployment benefits for the primary borrower.

Group Disability Insurance

short term disability: 

If due to illness or accident the employee becomes short-term disabled, this program will pay for a maximum period of 26 weeks. The coverage can be non-occupational, complementing SINOT (Law 139) or at a rate of 24 hours, covering the employee inside and outside of work. The benefits will be paid according to the established waiting periods and while the employee is disabled, as established in the policy. This policy is for a group of ten (10) employees or more.

Long-term disability: 

If due to illness or accident the employee is unable to work, this program will help replace their unearned income, after completing a 90 or 180 day elimination period, while under medical care.

This program allows a disabled employee to receive a disability benefit, even if he or she is not totally disabled. This policy is for a group of ten (10) employees or more.

SINOT

Law 139 of 1968, known as the Temporary Non-Occupational Disability Benefits Law (SINOT), provides for employees to be covered under a Private Plan with an insurance company, instead of the Government Plan.

  • Weekly Benefits: Weekly benefits are equal to 65% of the worker's regular weekly salary, with a minimum of $12.00 and a maximum of $113.00.

  • Maximum Benefit Period: Benefits will be paid for twenty-six (26) weeks for disability occurring in any consecutive fifty-two (52) calendar week period.

  • Waiting Period: You will have a seven (7) day waiting period, except if you are hospitalized within the first seven (7) days of disability, in which case benefits will be paid from the first (1) day of hospitalization.

  • Death Benefit: A $4,000.00 benefit will be paid as a result of death by accident or illness that would otherwise be compensable under Act 139.

School Insurance

This program offers special protection against Accidents and Medical Expenses to students and teaching and non-teaching staff of public and private schools, universities and other educational institutions. The protection will be effective while they attend the educational institution during regular days and hours, participating or attending activities sponsored and supervised by authorized personnel, traveling from their residence to attend classes and back by the normal round trip route. 

Group Insurance
against Accident and Medical Expenses

This policy covers you while you are participating in activities of the insured entity, duly approved and supervised by the authorized persons in charge of the group, such as:

  • Cultural

  • Educational

  • Social

  • Sports 

  • Summer camps

  • Official events in general

It covers him during the journey while the Insured travels from his residence to the place where the activity is held, except for air transport. All participants/members of the group and staff in charge of the group are eligible.
